Mitchell is a seasoned executive with over 36 years of leadership experience in the global aerospace and defense industry. He has successfully led large-scale organizations of 4,000 to 7,500 employees, managing operations for the Department of Defense, NASA, and commercial sectors worldwide.

In the past 14 years, Mitchell has held senior leadership roles, including Vice President of Global Technical Operations at Boeing’s top-performing Global Services Sector and Vice President of Global Operations and Supply Chain at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems’ high-execution Sector. In these positions, he oversaw production, maintenance, and modification programs while optimizing a multi-billion-dollar global supply chain and its suppliers. His leadership addressed complex challenges, achieving on-time delivery of aircraft and parts, ensuring affordability, and enhancing military mission capability rates worldwide. His contributions supported advanced aerospace programs, including cutting-edge fighter jets, bombers, surveillance systems, autonomous platforms, Presidential aircraft, commercial aircraft, and space initiatives.

Mitchell has served on several prestigious boards, including the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO), the University of Southern California Marshall Global Supply Chain Advisory Board, the El Segundo Board of Education, the California Chamber of Commerce, and the Santa Clarita Boys and Girls Club, among others.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Mitchell holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Global Business from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management from USC, and executive certifications from Stanford and Harvard. He is Lean-trained in Japan and Six Sigma Green Belt certified by UCLA.
